Bio

Hugues Sarra-Bournet is a multidisciplinary performer-creator who has taken up the most varied artistic challenges for more than 20 years: from street performances near the Gaza Strip in Israël to mega productions in Las Vegas or New York, passing through the committed theater for children and young people.

His dedication to touching the public and making them think goes through a fusion of theater and circus that keeps the spectator in a perpetual back and forth between the intrigue inherent in the story and the wonder generated by the feats. One finds in the work of Hugues the influences of artists like Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton or John Gilkey.

His career is punctuated by recognitions such as the Audience Award and a Silver Medal at the 37th Festival du Cirque de Demain (trio Moi et les autres).
